OPI's Black Shatter

Hey everyone! :D

I know, I know. I have been slightly MIA on my blog! Sorry for that I will work harder at keep this place up to pace! :)

You guys might already know that OPI released a new collection & they have a new kind of polish!

It is supposed to create the crackle effect, which is something very unique and I have not seen before, till I got this! :D

It is called black shatter - the name says it all! It's black & it looks like it has been shattered!

I wore it for the first time under Rumple's Wiggin' also from OPI & I LOVE IT! I would say if you use this, it would look better with a lighter base, the black shatter would really stand out! :D It's not something you see all the time, but it def helps to spice up your nails!

Besides, if you were wearing a certain colour for a few days and you are bored of it, you can def paint this on top! Ta-da! Looks like you've got your manicure done again!

Mac Lightful Bright Collection in Singapore!

Okay! So this is EXCITING! US is always usually the first place that gets MAC collection and all stuff, but next month- Feb 2011. MAC is going to release a limited edition collection, asia exclusive!! I am super excited for this collection! :D

MAC Cremeblend Blushes for Spring 2011

Hey guys!

Spring is coming!! Do i hear any 'yays'? I used to love Spring in Australia, all the flowers blooming (:

Well in Singapore it's practically one season all year round, but one can dream right? (:

How could I not update you guys on this, since I am a blush addict!! haha :D

This year MAC is going to release a collection of 6 cremeblend blushes! If the name rings a bell, you might remember last spring Lillyland was released - the first MAC collection which I was going crazy over! I've got 2 cremeblend blushes from that collection and I must say I love them! Though they are not repromoted in this collection!

MAC is only going to repromote- so sweet so easy from the Lillyland collection.



Brit Wit Dusty rosy mauve

Ladyblush Warm neutral coral

Posey Warm peach

So Sweet, So Easy Bright yellow pink

Something Special Light coral

Tea Petal Mid-tone reddish brown

These are the 6 new shades which will be released. Rumor have it that  Blushcreme  are being discontinued and yes they have been  discontinued, however MAC used 3 of the same names in this new collection. We shall have to wait and see if the colours will be the same or a totally different colour!

The BEST thing about this collection- esp since I am a blush addict who is on project pan = no buying of makeup. This will NOT be limited edition! So you can take your time to get these blushes, which is awesome! Kudos MAC! (They must know I am on a project pan & didn't want me to miss out.haha)

Has anything caught your eye as of now? I feel it's always abit hard to tell till you see the swatches. I always think I want nothing when I see the promo pictures, then I'll see the swatches and I want the whole collection! haha

Review: Revlon Tropical Temptation

Hey guys! 

I have been on the hunt for a corally colour & I think I might have found my perfect shade! <3 My girlfriend actually told me she saw this colour & thought it might be the one which I have been looking for so of course we went to check it out. It looked kinda like the colour I wanted so I grabbed it! Revlon at Watsons is having a 20% sale- till beginning of Feb 2011 I think! 

Anyway let's just get to the swatches! :D 

 I have it on my nails now & looking at it makes me really happy! :D It was not very easy to apply! :( I had to apply 3 coats before getting the colour I wanted. Even with the 2nd coat it was still slightly streaky. The formulation was alright, not my favourite but I could still work with it. 

The brush is not as big as I usually like it to be, but for the colour I will definitely make the extra effort to paint it! 


I think it was $17.90 but I got a 20% on it so that was great! :D

Have you tried any of the revlon polishes? If you have, do you like them?

MAC Wonder Woman Collection

Hey guys!

So MAC has released some information on their new collection! It's the Spring 2011 collection & honestly I am not as excited as I was for Spring 2010. Which is good because if you follow my youtube, you would know that I am on a project pan! :D I guess there is never a great time to start since MAC releases collection so often! I'm not a fan of wonderwoman at all, so this should be easy for me to skip :)

Being a blush addict, I'm not gonna lie. The blushes do look really attractive & I want them! :( haha but I'm gonna stay true to my project pan & not cheat on it! :D

The polishes look quite normal, but we will have to see it in real life to really judge how 'normal' they are.

Are you guys planning on picking up anything from this collection? If you are please do share! Or are you guys watching upon swatches before deciding which products are worth checking out? :)

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a fabulous countdown! My whole blog post got deleted at the strike of 12!How ironic, so here I am re-typing it! I guess new beginnings? haha I don't know! Anyway this post is just all about my faves & really the best (for me) in 2010! 2010 was amazing, I learned so much more about makeup, discovered more, tried out more, met more people. It was great!
Beauty wise I really wanted to share with you guys all these amazing products! I hate keep great things to myself! So I hope you guys enjoy it & let's jump right into it now! This was so so so hard but I managed to get down to these products!

Clarins Brightening Serum - If you guys read my blog, you would know that I just purchased this not too long ago. I have been using it for about 2 months or slightly lesser. I have to say this product is amazing! I use the whole series (almost), so the toner, serum & day lotion, when I use this on a daily basis I just see such a difference! I am blessed with pretty good skin, so sometimes I don't really get to see skin care working on me, but this boy I definitely see it working it's charm! It has made my skin brighter & more glowy. Even when I don't have makeup on I still look glowy which I love!
Nars Casino Bronzer - This is my first ever NARS product, which I purchased in brissy for 70ish AUD! A hefty price but I love it! It has been through alot with me, the travel back to Singapore left it shattered in pieces ): I still love it & now it's almost gone, which makes me upset but that's a testament to how much I love it! I use it to contour and on really cold winter days in brissy I use it to warm up my skin- I can get pretty light in winter. It has tiny reflects hence it will not look flat on your skin! (:
Mac MSF Natural - Need i say more? This is amazing to set foundation and on days I want just a slight coverage I just swirl my kabuki in and buff it on my face & viola! I'm out the door!
Revlon Colour stay - Another well loved product! I have only 1 use left of it, I am thinking if I should get another on! It's quite pricey in Singapore! I love this product, stays all day doesn't budge. Very good for humid places like Singapore! I like the fact that they have different skin type formulation hence it does not make me too dry or oily! Kudos Revlon!
Soft Lips - No particular scent, this is just the current one I'm using! I've gone through tubes of these! love them to bits! I am  not sure if it is available in SIngapore, since i got it in Brissy ( bought a few back ups!). It has the most amazing scent! I love love love the smell, it is so buttery & soft. What's there not to love really?
Benefit Moon Beam - Benefit has done it again! I love love moonbeam! I mix it with my foundation or just swipe some over my cheekbones and it looks va va voom! I am all about cheeks and this has really made my year a more glowy one! It has gold undertones with is perfect for girls who are tanner like me! I love this!
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - I got this product in Brissy this year & I have to say this is the creamy-est (is there even sucha word?) concealer I have ever tried! I have not tried many concealer but this really does it for me. I get pretty bad dark circles when I was in Uni, and even now when I'm working and this does it for me!

Urban Decay Primer Potion - I love this product! It just helps my shadows stay on for the longest time ever! I love how it can withstand the humidity. I feel like Singapore's weather is a test of how good a primer is, if it doesn't crease & if the shadow still looks amazing after a day. It has passed the test of humidity!
Urban Decay Naked Palette - Enough said! I mean you need neutral, there it is, dramatic, there it is, smokey there it is too! So I mean this palette has to be the best of 2010 hands down!
Benefit Brow-zing - I got this when I was holiday-ing in Sydney, the MA was super sweet and nice! I got this for my graduation and boy this was so handy! When i got back to Singapore I was trying new threading places and both times they messed u up my brows! :( This definitely takes up more time than a brow pencil but this is definitely more precise
Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Ink - I love gel liners and this is amazing! I have extremely water-y eyes so nothing stays on my waterline! This stays on the longest for me personally, it does not budge on my upper lash line at all! This eye liner is so so creamy! I just love it!
Lorea Extra - Volume Collagen - I love love love this masacra! This really does it for me! I got this in Brissy not sure if you can get it in Singapore, I saw something similar but I'm not too sure if they are the same product! I might try it soon! This really gives my lashes so the craziest amount of volume! I have been asked if I was wearing falsies when I wore this mascara, so this is love! (:



Marc Jacob Daisy - This is my first perfume ever my mom got for me! I am not a girl who likes flower-y scent but this is love! It smells so good & it is not very strong which I like! If you have not smelt this I think you should! It is so girlie (:
Earths Organics -  I usually don't like lotion because I feel it's way too light and water-y but this is not at all! The consistency is so great, feels more like cream than lotion, it is so luxurious and absorbs so well into my skin. The scent is amazing! I mean tangerine + ginger might sound odd but this is just amazing! I love the scent heaps!
Vera Wang Princess - If something has vanilla in it, trust me I'm all over it! I love love love vanilla scents! This is so feminine but it is not over powering! I love the scent just subtle but makes you feel so well dressed!
Keratase Relax Slim Deep Conditioner - This year I decided to venture into the brand keratase which is not cheap at all, but to date I have 2 products and both I really love! This makes my hair so soft & reduces frizz on my hair which is great! You don't need a lot of product for it to work, so a little goes a long way! I have to try more of kerarase stuff in the new year & I'm excited! :D
I did not include blush because I just could not choose! I have way too many, so let's just leave it as that! :p
Okay I'm glad to be posting this entry, thanks to onsugar I've written this post like 5-6 times?! crazy I know, I'm getting sick of all my favorites haha how ironic!
